-sighs- So..the on going saga of living here. Lil update for those of you who don't know. I rent a room from John, whom has a 3 bedroom house. Just before Josh went underway, he rented out a room to Brandon. Ok, fine and dandy, I know Brandon, not a bad guy [could use the ability to clean/do yardwork but oh well].

John goes underway, not too long later Brandon is like "Hey, I e-mailed Josh and he's ok with this guy Jack moving in, is that a problem with you? He'll only be here a week, maybe two." Hmmm well...doesn't leave me much room to say no since John has already said yes, so ok fine. Well, don't hear much about this guy till two weeks later, out of the blue, Brandon is like "Oh hey, Jack is moving in today. Oh and umm he's got two trucks." Great...so we already have my car, Brandon's car, John's car, Nick's car [he stored it for a couple months during his underway...expects to retrieve it mid-July], and now two trucks. Oh but thats ok, Jack is supposed to take it to a dealer and sell it the next day. Fine, one night, thats ok.

He moves in on a Wednesday. Thursday comes, truck still there and Brandon goes home on leave for two and a half weeks, Friday passes, finally Saturday comes and he takes the truck. Yay, I think, he's gone to go sell it [he's just out of the Navy and no longer needs it]. Slight issue, apparently dumbass forgot that trucks and SUVs are out these days. He comes back home, upset because Kelly Blue Book says his trucks value is about $4500, the dealer offered him $2000. I just tell him that its no surprise, why, because no trade-in for one and two trucks are not wanted these days.

So, Sunday he decides to put his truck in the front yard with a for sale sign, promising the truck will be gone Wednesday even if he has to take the $2K. Fine, fine, appeases him. Wednesday he goes away on a flight to go do some interviews and...guess what...leaves the truck in the front yard. Pisses me off cause now the lawn will look like shit.

Today, I get a nice pounding on the door. Its someone from the city's department. One of our lovely neighbors complained about the truck in the front yard. Apparently all vehicles have to be on an improved parking area. Only mine and Brandons are. I explain the situation to the guy, he gives me a little leeway because all vehicles are properly tagged and inspected. However, Jack has now put both his vehicles, John's vehicle, and Nick's vehicle in danger of being ticketed for not being in proper parking areas [to which I explained John and Nicks cars and the guy, being nice just said to keep the grass good n cut around them and they should slide]. Oh did I mention I was just drifting off to the wonderland of a good nap when I was awoken by this guy? Yea...

So...don't be surprised to see me on the headlines for murder when both Brandon and Jack return. Bout fed up with the both of them. Neither has proven to be a decent roommate and now I get to deal with this shit on top of that.

-Phew...that feels better-

I sometimes read stuff and think, wow, I wish I could have expressed myself like that!

I want to kiss him...

Plus this one was pure NJ Black Bear. Probably over 500 pounds.

Yeah, we get big livin' around you guys. All that backyard fruit and the wonderful stuff your silly species tosses out in cans. Mmmm-mm! Same thing happens in Cali where it never gets cold enough to hibernate. Correction, never gets cold enough to need to hibernate. Personally, I hibernates for the sport of it all.

And then I almost hit one on the drive home today...

I may have to begin lurking the AH more often. Seems to me there are a number of really attractive women here.

I got up late this morning and was taking shower around 10AM...and this song popped into my head and I just CAN'T get rid of it.

Told the folks at work today and throughout the day I could hear folks humming it.

"Meet George Jetson....."

Bwahahahaha! :D Try the Flintstones instead!

If I remember correctly, a couple of years ago they determined there were enough black bears in NJ to open a hunting season for them...

...hey VM, fancy a trip to NJ? :D

Kind of a long way to drive for a bear. Last time I checked, our population here was over 15,000 and increasing. We take about 2,000/year and the numbers still go up. And like I said, in the lowlands they don't hibernate so they keep eating all winter. Big? I talked to one biologist who swore that he'd seen one that had to weigh 700 lbs! It was so fat the belly hair was rubbed off. :D

Thanks, y'all.

I suppose I should be used to hearing that particular news by now - I've lost so many family members and friends that way. It's an epidemic, I think.

You don't get used to it, though. :(
