omfg she wants a soft boiled egg for lunch...I don't know how to do soft boiled eggs:eek::eek::eek: I can cook anything but this is giving me the sqeazies just thinking about it trying to get it right. I'd better find a recipe that will say how long:confused::eek:

4 minutes on the dot. Make sure water is boiling good and hot, add another 30 secs if the egg is from the fridge and stick a lid on immediately. Don;t forget to pierce the shell first!

I had a dream the fiance was shaving his chest... very bizarre.

additional blurt: OK, I'm done being squishy round the middle now. I love having curvy boobs, a curvy bum and a few other curves besides, but I resent my tummy sticking out.
You go now!

Sing it, sister! I think mine's on the verge of going down to the PO and applying for its own SSN...

I know the feeling.

The really irritating bit is that it seems to inflate and deflate by 2 inches on a day to day basis. Oddness.

He's fine, thank the gods. Had to deal with two accidents but he's fine. He wasn't in either of them.

This week I almost did not fit any of my clothes, so :rose:.

I read an article about abs this weekm and turns out that people that have really flat tummies go into special diets to keep them like that.

It is so not going to happen!

Vana: How could you tell? *liiiiiiiiiiiiick!*

Vella: Blurtipation. *nods* Usually cured by a dose of Blurtor Oil.

Maharat: Not always. Some people are just born lucky and never gain weight. Then again, that CAN become a problem if they lose weight for any reason, since it's hard to put it back on, and can be VERY unhealthy.

I'm getting really good at lying to telemarketers. :D

I have implemented the UK's telephone preference service so any telemarketers ringing me are breaching their code of practice.

I just tell them that I do not buy anything over the phone. If they persist I suggest that I will inform the telephone preference service that their company is breaking the rules. If that doesn't work - and it doesn't apply to phone calls from outside the UK - I tell them that I will not buy anything from their company and I will inform all my networks that their company is attempting to breach English Law.

What networks? Local Chamber of Commerce; Round Table; Rotary; Councils including Trading Standards Officers; Police; Residents Associations; etc. My mailing lists run into thousands of individual names.

I've only had to do the network informing once. The company was prosecuted for breaching the Trades Description Act and ceased to trade in the UK. Cause and effect? I doubt it. Their selling methods were so outrageous that someone was going to complain eventually. My complaint was probably one of hundreds.

I am so bad about anniversaries and posting milestones.

If I had been on the ball and posted more, I could have had 8000 posts in five years and walked away clean. Now I have to think about another milestone and anniversary.
