if you ever want more I can give you some of mine! Thank God the older siblings are finished having kids! as to date I have 19 neices and nephews (although some are extended family, but still count) and now some of these kids have had kids of their own, so that makes me a great aunt. Makes me feel old!

Anyway, congrats again! The bigger the family the better, in my book!:cool:

For all I know I have more nieces and nephews. None of my immidiate family even knows exactly where my younger brother lives, let alone seen the place, or who he is living with, or why his laundry has women's thongs in it. He just doesn't talk about this stuff. For all we know he is married with children. we just don't know.

The compac is for my dad who has a bunch of files on an old hard drive, and wants to retrieve them. There's software that (supposedly) will convert his ancient Word Perfect into Word. :rolleyes::eek::confused::eek:

Works for windows had a word perfect conversion. But you'll need an old copy of word to convert the works file first before it will convert to the modern version of word.


ETA: Have you checked Open Office. I seem to remember some converters that were old.

The monitors are actually really good. I still use one as a small tv. But the rest...I think no one really wants them. If you know someone who does, let me know. I have 2.

It shouldn't be that difficult to convert the WordPerfect files into Word and you should be able to just hook up his old HD to any computer to retrieve the files. Most newer computers still have IDE cables.
I think.
