I'm going to rent "kill bill 2" for my new years celebration. I replayed that swordfight in the garden at the end of No. 1 about 10 times. The Spanish music, the choreography, the videography, the imagery and evocations - breathtaking. Tarantino may be a demented genius, but he's still a fricking genius.

Some people look for the perfect mate; I look for the perfect cereal. It's really tricky.
I've pretty much given up on the stuff you can get in the normal cereal aisle. If it isn't Basic 4 then I'll feel horribly guilty or disappointed after eating a bowl (I have residual sugary cereal warnings and guilt from my childhood ). It's a constant quest. Maybe I should make Ivanhoe do it for me.

Croustillant chocolat. It's French, has real chunks of real chocolate, is absurdly sweet - pure candy, and like you I mostly prefer lower-sweetened (like Special K) - but this stuff is unbelievable. :)

Oatmeal, darling. It's the perfect breakfast. Yummy and filling and you can sweeten or not, as you wish. It also lowers cholesterol. :D

I grew up on the sweeeeeet stuff, it tore up the roof of my mouth too. Mom never got us the "healthy" stuff and to me it always looked so yummy, but it was also more expensive, so we never got it. I try all different kinds all the time.

Ewwwwwy, kitty-goo-goo. I don't like cooked oatmeal. I'll eat it any other way (how many "other" ways are there?), but...blechers.
My mother used to have to make a smiley face with M&M's in the bowl to induce my eating it when I was but a wee bairn. Even then, dodgy consumption at best.
People keep trying to make me eat it. Does that mean I should try it [yet] again?

Oh that sounds fun. :D
Agreed!

And you're right, that's the problem with healthier foods, Red- they come at a pretty penny. Still, it's usually a price I'm willing to pay. Not that I eat all healthy all the time, but I'm gradually converting almost everything. Or trying to.

*nods* I'm the only one in the house that eats it, so I indulge every now and again.

Not AH related:

*sigh* I'm not sure if I'll ever uncloak for you again.

I'm not trying to make you eat it, Bluest! Sheesh! It was just a suggestion.

BTW, I'm still looking for the perfect mate.

Warrior, after working hard two hours:

"I finally fixed up the toys."

Shows me boxes of toys arranged by type. So proud.

All the while, on the background, I hear toddler giggles and the sound of boxes being flipped over.

You know... Your advice was so good, intelligent, made sense and it's all good... but I think that is why I am stuck now. I'm scared that this story has sooooo many issues that it'll never be right. You did too good of a job, now I wonder if I suck at all this writing and what am I doing here in the first place? You're too good of an editor.... You made me doubt. *sigh*

*blurt over*

Goes back to tackle this novel.

10 more stories written under the name RedHairedandFriendly and I hit 200 story submissions!!!!!!!!!! 3 more poems and I hit 140 poems!!!!!

I can't believe I've done all that. *smiles surprisingly*

okay I owe the IRS, I owe the credit card company, I owe my therapist, I owe my mother but this cup of Blue Mountain Coffee tastes wonderful!

Lol in case you are wondering it was a gift to me, such an extravagance I could never afford. It was patiently awaiting a press pot in the depths of my freezer. *happy sigh*

Blurt 1: I managed to go to a wedding and not catch the bouquet :D (Seriously, those things are usually attracted to me no matter where I stand in the room.)

Blurt 2: I'm apparently much more old fashioned than I thought

Blurt 3: As it turns out, I still do look nice in a fancy dress.
