My daughter cut the last two roses from my rose garden. . .yes, she had my permission, after all these roses aren't even supposed to be blooming so we want to enjoy them while we can.

However, the scent is so strong from the giant blooms, they are now giving me a terrible headache.

Screws me up all the time. I mean, hell it's 9.40am Monday here; it's still sometime yesterday afternoon(?) in the US. That's just wrong!

No word since it left Chicago. I'm thinking it's sitting in a mail centre somewhere between here and Sydney, or if I"m lucky it'll turn up today.
 
Ohhhhh yuck! It is rare, very rare for me to fix something that tastes horrid. . .but that fish you allowed to soak in salt water was NASTY!!!! *cough sputters and tosses back something to get the taste out. *

They would be really good for dusting and possibly some other household chores....which I have neglected....gotta run.

I am wiser this evening than I was this afternoon. . .both computers are now working the way they were supposed to before someone (we won't name the husband's name) played with them. :rolleyes:

We've lost MrsDL for the foreseable future...I picked up Guitar Hero III for her this morning :eek:
 
I leave for Vegas, Vegas, Vegas on Friday morning! (I sang that line as I typed it)

I'm considering not going to kung fu class this week so that I can get in an extra game of poker before I leave. But I won't. I need the exercise more than the poker.

I start learning my next sword for in one of my next classes too, but I am trying to put that off until after I get back sot hat I don't forget it while I am away :p
 
Trapsed around a local town trying to pay a bill. Sent to three different offices only discover my first choice was correct. When I finally got back to it, it had closed for lunch. Ate lunch watching half a dozen dolfins playing in the river. Paid bill. Returned home to find I have eight days to file a tax return for the annual income of €36.80 for a small plot of agricultural land rented out. I can't believe the tenant was so STUPID as to declare he paid €36.80 in rent! It will actually cost me close to €100 in fuel, road tolls and lunch to go and file the return upon which there is about €6 tax due!

One of those days!
