Wow, I'd really like to know about all these instances where I obviously got to people so much that they just went on and on about me.....Shit, please enlighten me.

In the hopes that your knowledge of me will provide you with some balance and that you take this in the gentle manner it's (hopefully) provided to you.

Your rant about "men" as a blanket statement a day or so ago offended me and pissed me off. I said nothing because it would do no good. You have your opinions, you formed them for a reason, some asshole provoked you. I know and understand ALL of that. Not disagreeing with those reasons.

But if we were to "put the shoe on the other foot." Say I came here and ranted about man-hating lesbians who turn women against men with hate filled rhetoric and such? especially in close proximity to either your post or to, say, one of Vella's*** jokes about castrating men to make them more "acceptable" to her?

I don't know specifically who is going "on and on" about you nor do I care to look...and I don't know that it is in direct relation to that post. But SIMA, please! Such statements may get your angst out. But along with that, they will anger people. The one goes along with the other. There is no magic way to avoid responsibility for our words.

So, that may be one of the "instances." Might not be too. But there it is.




***You all should know that Vella~la is one of my absolute favorite people in the entire world, so I'm not worried that you'll think I find her offensive, really. But if you don't know me, be assured that I love the woman in question. And I am NOT using the word "love" lightly.

So what? I'm not so concerned about people I don't know personally on a porn board. I have my opinions and it cracks me up that folks take them so personally. I've had worse comments than the ones I've made laid on me and I don't give a crap.

It isn't a rant, just a blurt that made me laugh my ass off because I somehow manage to bother/irritate people to no end.

Sorry, there's just too much that's fake over here. Not everyone, but quite a bit. There are plenty of people I love over here, some more than others. They know what's going on with me and where I'm going, but the overbearing "I'll smile in your face then act an ass/act haughty behind your back/in the act" bit is old.

Come on people, I'm not directing this at anyone personally, so don't get all hot over it.

Sans a few threads and a few people, I can't come back here.

You asked someone to point out an instance. I did. You have your buttons that people push that piss you off. Others have their buttons, too.

There's fake everywhere. Finding a place you can be yourself and people still love you is the rare part.

I hoped so, which is why I didn't respond when you posted it originally. Figured you needed to blow off steam.

But not everybody is as willing to think before they post as I usually am.

I'm easy enough to find if you ever want to talk. You wouldn't be the only ex-litster I'm still in touch with...

There are some I'm not though...and I do miss some of them. Greatly at times. *sigh*
 
Why do some people take things so personally? As if a bad review for a video game were an insult to that person's taste?
