I am actively seeking employment in the field of public relations and/or writing & editing. I have signed on as an editor for Phaze... but let's face it, that pays royalties and it's not a living income at this point by any means.

I have been reminded that many hirings have less to do with whom has applied than with by whom they were recommended or made aware of an opening.

So, consider this my announcement that I am open to networking with all y'all. We support each other in so many ways... it seems to me that to deny the possibility that a contact here could be of mutual benefit would be unwise at the very least...

I am so sick of this shit, I am so sick of the attitude that work is giving me. I ask for two days off for appointments and such a week, not that I've been working either of them the past year. Then I get scheduled for them this week and have to make a switch in the schedule, now I'm going to end up fucked over because the jackass manager screwed up my schedule and didn't communicate. Now I'm stuck with only 6 hours this week because things got fucked up and I can't fucking live on six hours. With gas prices it doesn't even make it fucking worth it. I would quit if I could because this is bullshit and I shouldn't be punished for his fuck up...
