Our friend is worse again. They had to do a tracheotomy on him and he was heavily sedated. We're gonna see him tomorrow - let's hope he's a bit better again by then.

I went through something similar with my mom a few years back, it was long and exhausting, but today she is doing great and celebrated her 81st birthday. I wish for you all, all of the strength you need.
