Morning, Rox.

I read your PM, and I'm not hungover. ;)

How are you? :rose:

I'm in the mood for exercising! But I'm afraid of going for a jog, as if my legs would fall off at the knees...

I am good, doing a little work. BTW, that av proves that your name here is a complete misnomer, and Cloudy was correct in her response to your self-description.

My sister just reported on sending her 13 y.o. boy to the Gulag - our uncle "requested" him to help do landscaping on his property today. It's going to be six hours of hard labor, and the spoiled-but-generally-good kid is in a state of shock at the prospect.  Here's how I summed up my sister's description of his attitude and complaining: "He's going through the process of being 'born' as an adult, and like the other birth process his first reaction on the other side is to scream and cry." :D I tried to describe the satisfactions of (some) hard labor, and the Aristotlean notion of virtue as a habit one learns, and similar stuff, but I fear Aristotle is wasted on the young.

Maybe the $50 bucks the kid walks away with will change his attitude - but I suspect not much.

Seeing Grace's av flash last night (and Dino's current one) made me a bit melancholy over (long) lost youth, but witnessing the agony of the "birth process" described above also makes me relieved not to be young again. ;) Life is funny.
