I am like that myself.
Story: I worked as a barista for years. I am the coffee knowledge queen. Well, now I work at a radio station and there are only about 12 people who work there. I don't really fit in, but whatever.
One morning the coffee maker was down so our DJ, Grant, called one of the sales girls and asked her to grab him a large latte on her way into work. Well this pissed off the lady who runs traffic. (she's a major bitch anyway, actually tells you that herself the first day you meet her) "Well now Grants going to be hyper all damned day b/c of all the extra caffeine"
without even considering a thing, I said" well, Helen, not really, because Espresso has less caffeine than drip coffee."
She said "wanna make a bet," and then went off on me about being a know it all and how dumb I was (basically, not in those words)
So on my lunch break I went home and printed off three different sheets from three different sites proving my comment. then I set them on her desk. She still gets pissy with me and everyone at work calls me a know it all. I was right though and I knew it. I hate ignorant people who would rather be right than be informed. Had I been wrong, I would have wanted to know so I wasn't wrong about it again.

If you want I can do something to make them a little less amatuer and a little more artsy? I like that kind of stuff.

That sounds like something I would have done, lol. I will admit if I am wrong, but I kind of get on a kick when it comes to history or horses and I know I come off wrong when I correct people but I swear I don't mean to do it most of the time. I wasn't upset in this case or anything but I had just read the stuff lastnight...

Maybe we should sit in the know-it-all corner and think of ways to be tactfully correct...I get in trouble too for correcting people
