It was that bloody annoying man I share my life with. Why can't he just do things when he says he will?

Oh waht the hell, lets get it off my chest, before I choke in my own irritation.

The battery in my car is getting tired. Now the weather is cooling down, it's becoming obvious. I mentioned it to SO three weeks ago. He said he'd put a spare battery we have on the charger and we'd be right when it go properly cold.
I've reminded him of this on four separate occasions. I'd do it myself but don't know where either the charger or the battery are (didn't even know we had a spare).
Last night was properly cold for the first time this year. This morning the car was well and truly iced over when I went to go buy bread for school lunches.
SO had left for work in his car an hour previously.
My car made that wonderful wooeeer, woooooeeeeerrrrr sound that only a too cold old battery can induce. And didn't start.
So where's the spare battery? Who knows. And the charger (I have since found out in a phone conversation with his lordship) is in the shed on the paddock five miles away.

Hand me the shotgun.
