I can't believe
that i would keep,
keep you from flying.
And i would cry 1000 more
if that's what it takes
to sail you home.

I'm sorry that I'm not enough reason to be your "home".
   :rose:

hugs beautiful. i miss you

There's an advert on TV which uses the song 'Ladybug's Picnic' and every time I hear it, for some random reason, it makes me think of Chantilly...

So there you go Sweets. Take it how you will...

Can you really Not squeeze blood from a turnip?

Can I rob Peter to pay Paul?

I sure hope the next 6-8 weeks of his restricted hours and duty go by fast, because this sucks.

lol, i'll take it as i need to go and google it to know how to take it ;) I rarely if ever sit through a commercial so don't get to see many. I'm usually hauling ass upstairs to the loo or running throwing laundry in the washer after 9pm...if its a channel with commercials. Before 9 i'm working on school stuff. :D

I have never in my life spanked another person's child, but damn, it's taking all my restraint not to do so.

You have the timing of a saint. Kid was starting to run riot up in her cot so I had to get her up. Brought her down to the computer so I could save my paper and close it out (which is a big freaking bummer since there is a whole hour of I'm actually awake time gone for working on it.) She was doing her I want I want routine and I clicked on that link you gave and totally quiet she went!

I think we have a new song :D No work, but tis better to have no work and happy kiddie and than no work and grouchy kiddie

Found the dog(s)

Now the question is- where the hell is my mop?

(After being so miserably sick, I'm on a cleaning frenzy. Bathroom cleaned, bedroom cleaned and sheets changed, 6 loads of laundry done, kitchen tidied, but I need to mop all the floors....)

Whoa, you little hell-cat. Slow down just a tad, okay? I don't need another funeral to go to.

I am not very familiar with this forum and I'm not sure where to post this, so if anyone could paste it where it might be more appropriate, please do that. Jen asked me to post this. We haven't had internet in over a month, and she is consumed with teaching and passing her classes, she hasn't had the chance to visit lit at all. She can't do it at school obviously. We are also currently hounded to pay bills we never received, and we are fighting out internet supplier because they have been harrassing us quite a lot. I don't know if she mentioned this when she could post still but we have had trouble for months. We are both very pissed off but do not have the money right now to switch to another company when we are still dealing with this one. I occasionally get the chance to use the internet so until Jen has an opportunity to come back I can relay messages. She has been worried because apparently there are some things on here that she should be taking care of or managing and she feels extremely bad that she can't be there. I don't know much about this. She is in the final stretch of teaching and about to graduate and can barely make time to take a breath sometimes.

I don't ever post on message boards and Jenny told me to use proper grammar under penalty of death, so please don't tell her if I didn't.

Don't be afraid, we won't bite (hard). :)

There was a chain story going that she was handling, but it's under control - please let her know.

As far as I know, that was it, but I wouldn't know if there was more.

Tell her congrats on the final stretch of school, and we'll be here when she gets back.

The grammar was beautiful, but a little tip for the future is slightly shorter paragraphs - that was quite an essay!

Send love to Jen and wish her luck with her graduation. I don't know anything about duties (maybe an old-timer can help here...?) but tell her she's missed, especially on the 'Themed AV' thread - ok? ;)

Just tell Jen we love her and miss her and those evil nasty people should die slow painful deaths. Want me to start brewing some voodoo?

No, really, just tell her to breathe. We'll be here when she gets back.

I think thats what she was the most worried about. I'll tell her what you said. Thank you.

Sorry about the paragraphs. I spent all my energy on the spelling. I've never been much of a speller and this is giving me a headache. :) That's why I usually don't post on message boards.

I will let her know what you said as well. Thanks.

To my friends who live across the ocean, in England / Scotland or Ireland specifically:

That new show Robin Hood the BBC is doing.... that leather jacket that Little John wears, if any retailers over there are offering replicas of that jacket, please pick one up for me, please.
