Before the sunrise on a winter day
Not so much raining as the air is wet
And the breeze finds every crevice

Cold, dark, wet, waiting, alone with
My thoughts and my emotions
I struggle to sort them out a bit
Then resign to just let them be for now

And I remember a line from an old tv show
"Angel, devil, same difference"
And my shadowy companion chants a blessing
Cursing me as I get in my car and drive.
 
I hate winter................. and Ice.............. and Ice falling out of the derrick..........

It hurts not good at all....... :eek: :rolleyes:

And so. I lay awake till around 2 staring at the time being projected onto my ceiling. Then at some point i dozed off. I re-awoke again shortly after and continued where i left off in the rather invigorating task of watching the numbers turn on my clock. Basically my night consisted of being awake, punctuated intermittently with dozing off only to be awoken moments later.

You have my earnest sympathy, young friend. Let me tell you that I am the kind of sleeper is strongly affected by extraneous sounds. My life used to be hard, but now it is easier, because I have discovered The Way, and The Way is called, silicone ear plugs:

Wax ones you can buy at the chemists work just as well. Unlike those foam things these are not uncomfortable, either. This is also healthier and more effective than white noise, btw, for those who use that. The two can be usefully combined, also.

Hugs sweetie. Run, don't walk, and get yourself some of these. The lawyer-generated instructions say don't stick 'em in - I stick 'em in, and sleep the sleep of the just. :rose:

~I have...*counts* 2 sex scenes to write which have pretty high priority right now in terms of my writting projects. *sigh* i dont think i have the energy to bitch at my own writting right now.

~~I am also so so so happy that Bhai Jaan approves of part 2, 3 and the begining of part 4 of FYML...now all i gotta do is edit, finish, begin and begin repectively. *sigh* It means a lot that he likes the ideas im thinking of.
