i understand how you feel. was told yesterday that i have to teach a faculty 'bootcamp' today. erm...no prep. going into work early and staying late to catch up on that and work registration.
you'll do just fine, of that, i have no doubt :rose:

Thanks for the good thoughts Vellababy!
I managed a pretty good grade point average this last term, but Im scared this psycho teacher will retaliate (sp) over a letter to the department head our class composed, he asked me to send it to him, Im the one that got the brunt of her disapproval.

I know you have the 'stuff' to carry out the boot camp, you have the brains and the brawn! You have kids too, thats enough to organize an army and stay on top of things!
Don't bust your butt, if they asked for more out of you without notice, do it on your schedule.
Whats going on with the other job search? What is it you want to do?

*sigh* Oh nevermind. It's not like that.

Argh.
Just going by what you wrote, sweets. If you meant something else by "fuck with their heads", good.

I need to find some 1/2" x 5 1/2" concrete anchors...preferably in a lag screw style.
Call the local concrete company and ask where they get their fasteners..... You might also check with places that install carports.... they use that size and even larger....

What I'm wondering now is about the size of the anchor sleeve combined with the bolt within. I've gotta find the proper bolt size to work with an anchor that will fit a 1/2" hole. What I really should've done was to rent a hammer drill, as the drilling to this point has been an absolute nightmare. That, and I'm just now learning of all the methods to concrete fasteners and anchors.

Thanks for the tip. I'm headed to ACE today.

I am really, truly, honestly in an awful, horrible, terrible slump with my writing. This sucks. I've never gone this long before without writing something decent.

Have I lost it?

:(

No, it's just your muse waiting for you to write some chick-on-chick action.

I'm afraid I'd mess it up entirely and then disappoint people who actually mean something to me.

. . . like a crime drama: Two notorious lezbeans kidnap a Montana granola girl, haul her back to their Texas compound, and lock her in their boudoir, where for months they take turns making use of her precious pink body in the "worst" ways. It becomes a Patty Hearst/Stockholm syndrome thing, where granola girl comes to identify with her captors, and joins in them in manning a fire hose when a special forces team comprised of H-rated smut writers attempts to break in with notepads and video cameras.

Roxelby, leave it to you to make me smile! (Well, ABS too, but don't tell her that.)

I've actually always wanted to write a story about Stockholm Syndrome. Hmmm....

I'm aroused from that scenario (not to mention Lucky's AV), and I'm not even gay.

I can't think of a single thing you could write that would disappoint me, but I'm sure it's the same as me not particularly wanting to write a gay male story.
