Where are you? I didn't think you were anywhere there...

Southampton, ON (or I will be very, very soon - spent the summer there). It's about three hours from Toronto.

Most of the Canadians here (that I know of) are either from Ontario or Montreal....pretty much visiting distance. :)

My hometown. I live in the area known as Little India as well.

If you need any information just ask.

Just so.

Just about every store for a half a kilometre on both sides has signs in a language other than our two official languages. The goods for sale are generally not found elsewhere in Canada.

I rather like it. It has flavour.

and to think i said that all in a whim!!

It's a nice picture, it reminds me of London- there are most definately areas like that.

I've heard canada as a whole has a large Arab population because of the Oil Trade.

I read this story a while back, and it was so gross I kind of hoped that it would slip completely out of my memory.

But it didn't :(

And I suddenly have the urge to tell it

This guy goes to a McDonald's drive-thru and orders a McChicken sandwich without mayonnaise, because he hates it.

He's about a mile away when he bites into the McChicken sandwich, only to discover that it's oozing with mayonnaise. He isn't impressed, but doesn't have the time to drive back and complain, so he eats it anyway.

Later on that night he's admitted to hospital with severe stomach cramps, diarrhoea and vomitting.

It's at this point they discover that there wasn't any mayonnaise in that McChicken sandwich after all. Instead he'd bitten into an abscess, which oozed pus the second it was broken... and ended up making him really ill.

I've never eaten a McChicken sandwich since
