Sorry sweetie. Wanna fly over now to help me with the stupid thing? Started raining so I didn't want to take it out last night.

Don't see 'snakes on a plane'. Especially not with little ones in tow. Went to an 11 o'clock showing, yes 11pm, and two parents were there with their 2 kids, maybe 5 and 7 at the oldest. It's rated R, and you bring them to a showing at a time that will draw a bunch of punk/goth/technophile 20 somethings bringing their own plastic snakes who will swear and shout through most of the movie?

Someone explain that one to me, it's up there with the lady in Vegas at 2am, 3 or 4 year old in tow, giving Gosling and I a dirty look for walking along holding hands.

What's with parents? You'd think porn authors would be twisted or something, but damn, you all are some of the best role models for parenting I know.

...and believe it or not, I didn't mean that in the way this bunch will read it...

...and I completely agree about the parenting...Imp, L & V, Logo...every Lit parent I have seen in action is a wonderful positive example. I'm sure we have our negatives out there...we are human after all (ok, 'cept maybe Imp...she's kinda superhuman...)

...but I think we are pretty damn good! ...at the very least we are not propogating prejudice and stereotypes much...
