Blurt: One very, very hot summers day in birkenhead I wore a very short dress I'd not gotten up the gumption to wear before. it was above my knee by a good couple of inches and I felt I had alot of me on show-but my husband and sister insisted it looked okay. A got alot of attention that day -and my husband, once I'd dropped my sister off at the station got alot of attention too Sometimes, it's nice to attract attention.

Exactly, but its much nicer than yesterday, the humidity went with last night's storm. It's just hot. I've moved my chair to under the large eucalyptus tree in the garden. Sitting in the shade for the time it takes to smoke a cigarette wasn't bad at all. The short walk back to the house, in the full sun was a different matter al together.
