...with a volunteer editor.
I've actually taken the time to go through the Volunteer Editor Page and sent a few messages. I haven't heard anything. It's been over a week. So...in the mean time I guess I'll give this a go and see what shakes out.
I'm in the process of looking for an editor for my Literotica submissions.
I don't know what you need to know from me other than I plan on giving the Survivor contest a real effort this year so I'd like for our editor/writer relationship to last until it's finished. I haven't worked out how many stories I can crank out in a month, but would ideally like for the editor I choose to be able to see a large percentage of them. If I'm realistc with myself I could do 5 pieces a quarter which I feel, in my mind, are "quality" submissions. I like to keep my word count under 5,000 words.
Also, since the contest allows for submissions in all categories, I'd like for my editor to apply some open mindedness in that respect and be willing to review some subject matter they haven't listed under their preference. That of course is more flexible.
My most common errors are comma usage, dialogue tags and typos so I don't think there will be a ton of work for you to do (don't prove me wrong *wink* -- if so be gentle *haha*). If and when you feel you have the time once an edit is complete I would, of course, welcome your additional comments on the story itself.
I think that covers it. Please, if you have any questions for me feel free to PM me and ask. In your reply, if you would like to work with me, provide the link to one or two of the stories from this site that you've edited. I guess you could also reply to this thread. I'll subscribe to it so I'll be notified of your response.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
(wow, that kinda felt like writing a personal ad. Ha!)
