I figure the GB War Mongers aren't watching the Grammys and don't listen to or watch anything popular....why? Well, consider:

Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit called for peace, so he's right out.

KimCattrall of SITC made a Peace sign...so no blondeboobies for Ish.

Simon & Garfunkle? Right age, wrong movement.

Avril Lavigne...nope, she's Canadian and I just don't see BusyBody rockin' out to "Skater Boy" or anything by Gwen Stefani....nice outfit!

Can you see LostCause & Ish jammin to "It's gettin hot in here, so take off all your clothes"?

BTW....Nellie's band-aid is gone...did his brother get out of jail?

Even James Taylor is a peace freak....The Clash...

I know......N Synch!

The GB War Mongers are BIG NSynch fans.....aren't they!?

Seriously.....what do war mongers listen to? Patton speeches? Sousa marches???

wrong on all counts for me and I am not a war monger
I listen to:

Enya
Fleetwood Mac
TOTO
John Denver
ZZ Top
Everly Brothers
nuft said for you?

Early Tool was violent enough to be almost disturbing.

The last album wasn't even Parental Advisory.

We listen to the news, world wide news and documentarys on the leaders and people of Iraq, England, France, Germany and a few dozen others.

You should try it sometimes.

Documentaries are good. I have a copy of This Is Spinal Tap.

I liked Nsynch when they were underground.
I might like Nsync if they were underground - would depend on how deep though

But when I'm feeling warmongerish, I find nothing hits the spot like a little Danzig or Metallica (pre-black album if you please)

He's Canadian, at least it wasn't NSyunc.

Another vote for Tool, here.

Although, "Ishmael and the War Mongers" is a pretty cool name for a band.

Their first album...."Serious Allegations" was good, but the follow up "With The Ferrets Live @ Budokan" was wick!

Must not be a large demand for WV phone sex operators. ;-)

See the bubble headed Canadian

He logs on at five

He can tell you about body bags

With a gleam in his eye

Its interesting when Americans die

Lance loves Dirty Laundry

Kick em when their up

Kick em when their down

Always did like Don Henley:D

I guess Cheryl Crow (playing bass!!) with a No War geetar strap's right out with the Right....

rofl -- I second the notion!

That's great warmongering music, too -- especially RTL/MOP era.

Some other excellent but lesser-known warmongering tunes:

Genesis: The Battle of Epping Forest

UK: In the Dead of Night

King Crimson: Larks' Tongues in Aspic, part II

Yes: The Gates of Delirium

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

You've got to be f'in kidding me!

As to the theme of the thread my guess is Glen Campbell and that "Ballad of the Green Berets" song.

I'll bet the US Army likes The Charlie Daniels Band, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band...and, of course, Alabama!

Wasn't Serious Allegations the one with "Learning To No-Fly" on it?
