No longer seems to work on iphone 6 or OS 10. I just wondered if anyone else has the same problem.

I have the same problem. It locked up up on me in the middle of some really hot chat! Grrrrr!
After that it would just keep kicking off. I had to delete the app just to close it. I downloaded the "upgraded" app and it is even worse. All but one of the reviews gave it a unanimous thumbs down. Yahoo seems to just be ignoring it for now.

my yim seems to have gone real slow. at times so slow its unuseable but still there. this is on pc.

I have YIM PC too that works ok.
But I have noticed I cant delete conversation history now. All I get is error 400. Try again later. Shame because I have had quite a few horny chats with folk I want to delete.
I found some posts on another forum that said it wasn't being maintained nowadays.

I've noticed the same problem
I'm on Windows/Android and the app is gone (at least for Android on kindle).
Fortunately i never really liked the yahoo messenger app.
Instead I use trillian, which is a chat aggregator -so you can login with account from yahoo, aim, msn, etc, and I've been on YIM that way.
