Even the mainstream NYT has an editorial entitled "Fire Trent Lott."

Trent Lott is a homonid, not an ungulate. So no, he's not a racist pig.

A racist guy, maybe, I wouldn't know as I don't get to watch CSPAN much anymore and therefore don't pay him any attention.

KM

"Pig" is just a figure of speech.

As I'm sure you knew.

The South won

The South really won the Civil War. It lost on the battlefield, but reversed that result through political machinations. Look at all the right-wing racist Southern scumbags who occupy powerful positions in the federal government.

Including the current occupant of the White House.
:p

Every day that passes with the bougeousie still controlling the means of productions is a bad day for Red.

That's why he always seems so cranky and constipated.

Evening, Oliver

Actually, I'm in a pretty good mood today. You missed my light and fluffy thread.

Maybe I'll bump it for you.

Would this be the thread in which you fantasized about hanging Todd?

I guess that is "light and fluffy." Your breed normally shoots them in the back of the head.

It's just revenge..........

By the Socialists for getting spanked in November. He's no more a racist than any Dem like Clinton, Gore, Byrd, Jackson, Sharpton, or Farakhan. All have and had close ties with card carrying members of the Klan, or hate groups. It's a common tactic to try and put your opponent on the defense with bullshit, in this case it won't have any effect, losers. :D

Which is exactly what you're doing, bigger loser. DeLay and Lott are CCC freak jobs.

Trent Lott bashing.

Senator Lott was only expressing the true feelings of millions of Americans..You can pass Civil Rights Laws till Hell freezes over and
you're still going to see racism and segregation continue to grow..
You can't legislate people's minds and hearts-never in a million years..

Mississippi is a predominantely black state..If Senator Lott is so
terrible, why do they keep returning him to office????????

~~~JABO~~~
Confederate Flags and eternally lit crosses are located in front of every courthouse.
LOL
Yeah-- in Mississippi, most blacks have to vote with a white man pointing a gun to their head.
Flags, crosses, guns, and money are involved. No surprise who the leading opponents of McCain-Feingold are...someone tell Traficant bribes are allowed because of the 1st Amendment!!!
Not that I agree with what he said...BUT...
Last time I checked, taking public office does NOT mean you waive your right to free speech.
It just means you piss off more people.
It means you have to make apologies and grovel for forgiveness for things you probably meant to say in the first place.
I'm waiting for someone like Lott to say exactly what he thinks...
And when he is TOLD to apologize...
I want to hear him say it AGAIN just to clarify his point. :)
How about some favorable policies for someone that doesn't own a coal mine, a pharmaceutical company, or a stake in Texas A&M? Maybe a reassuring speech from the syndicate in charge--Rumsfeld, Rove, Poindexter, and Ashcroft.
This is turning into a third grade whine session..
you should all take a nap, or have something to eat...
Soup Nazi's Seafood Bisque
2 cups dry white wine
1 bay leaf
1 onion, roughly chopped
1 clove garlic
2 ribs celery
1 lobster, 1 1/2 to 2 pounds
12 medium-size shrimps, in shell
24 mussels, well scrubbed
12 sea scallops
4 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 cup fresh spinach, well rinsed and chopped
1/2 cup grated carrot
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1. Combine the white wine, bay leaf, onion, garlic and celery in a large
stock pot over medium heat. Boil. Add the lobster, cover the pot
and steam for 10 minutes. Remove the lobster, set aside and cool.
2. Add the shrimps to the boiling broth, cover the pot and steam for
5 minutes. Remove the shrimps with tongs, set aside and cool.
3. Add the mussels, cover the pot and steam until they open,
about 5 minutes. Remove the mussels with the tongs,
extract the meat and discard the shells.
4. Add 2 cups of water to the liquid in the pot, bring to a boil and
add the scallops. Cover the pot, and steam for 3 minutes.
Remove the scallops with the tongs.
5. Extract the lobster meat, reserving the shells. Peel and devein the
shrimps, reserving the shells. Chop the meat into bite-size pieces,
cover and set aside.
6. Return the lobster and shrimp shells to the broth and add 2 more
cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for
30 minutes. Strain the broth and return it to the pot. Discard shells.
7. Bring the broth to a simmer over low heat. Add the cream, milk and
herbs and simmer until mixture thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
Add the seafood and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in the spinach and
carrots and simmer another 2 minutes to just wilt the spinach.
Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Serve hot.
Yield: 6 Servings
The amazing thing is that you actually took the TIME to type that out. I take it you are incredibly bored with Lott at this point?
