I rarely visit Lit's home page, and I use the drop-down menus there even less. So are the features at the bottom new?

The "Reading Theme" and "Story Card Format" - I don't think I've seen them before.

I've only seen them recently, but have no reason to scroll down that far . . . and now they're not there. Huh. - Oh wait, they are there when I go in from the story side, but not from the forums.

They're there on the home page, not in the control panel.

The features themselves are not new; you previously accessed them from any story page. Putting them there makes a good deal of sense, but yes, I believe that part is new.

They're on every page on the story side of Lit. And yes, they're new; and also, they don't always make sense (e.g. the story card format is shown even on individual story page where it doesn't make sense, since story cards are only on list pages like writer profiles, category fronts, etc.).

It's kinda odd that those options are at the very bottom, below even Logout. I'd put it higher, honestly all the way up, even, along with other reading options. Or perhaps they should just add a dedicated Preferences/Settings page? The current setup, with everything scattered in million places, is just... odd.

The expanded story cards are useful for the tags...

But you need to click on "more new x sex stories" for them to actually appear. Clicking on your category of choice doesn't naturally bring them up.

Relatedly, does the gray theme look strange for anyone else?

The bright one is just everything white in the background, the dark is everything black. But the middle/gray one is gray in the bottommost layer but with black elements on top. Specifically, the text background is still just black, offering high contrast with the white text, rather than lower and more pleasant contrast of gray background vs. white text.

The expanded story cards show up when you go to any author's story list - you can turn the extra stuff off if you don't want to see tags.

"Story card format" preference picker is probably new, I say that because story card formats were enhanced pretty recently.
