I just submitted a story, in fact it has seven chapters. Anyway, the first chapter was approved. Ii was put into erotic couplings and had a description of "A married woman delves into the unknown", and a title of Silk Scarf Chapter one.

Now the second chapter (they are all pending) has been approved. Only this time it is now placed in loving wives and the description is "You remember the stolen moments of lust".
The title is still "Silk Scarf Chapter 2".

Is this a mistake, or is the staff trying to help me out here.. My only concern is readers being able to find all the chapters if they are across multiple genre's.

Anyone else had a problem like this?

P.S. The changes to Chapter Two do fit

Silk Scarf Chapter One Silk Scarf Chapter Two

yup, that's the way it happens. Don't worry about it, though. You'll get more readers for the entire thing spacing it between multiple categories. I had about four categories for Virgin Princess before it all posted to the fantasy/sci-fi category. Got a lot of good feedback from those who liked the crossing categories. :)

If you disagree with the category the sotires were posted in, or would prefer that they all go into the same category, you should e-mail Laurel at info@literotica.com Be patient, because she gets a LOT of e-mail at that address so it sometimes takes a while for her to reply.

As you noted in your PS, LAurel usually does a good job of placing the stories and writing the blurbs for them.

Don't worry...

Don't sweat it, if a reader wants to read the full series, they'll most likely go to your profile and check them out there...
