Is this fantasy common?

Okay I lets start off with this,all of my biological siblings are gross and not polite and horrid children. Yes, now to the point. This fantasy came about me when my stepdad's little brother was living with us, and trust me I had his guts just the same now, but we used to be best friends when we were around 6 or 7 years old. We experimented like all kids do but I was just thinking about it recently, and after watching the anime movie Angel Sanctuary, I'm now just fascinated with the brother and sister fantasy.

The reason I ask is that I'm writing something about it, it really turns me on to think of a sibling pair far from my family (far...far.....faaar) having a forbidden love and secretly just screwing each other nonstop. Anyways, does this go for anyone else?

I've had the sibling fantasy before, but I can't imagine it with someone similar to my real sister. It would have to be someone who was LIKE a sister, or maybe a stepsister type.

I think maybe in some surrealistic world, you may have a point - so go for it with this story! I've heard many fantasies about this already in my limited time here at Lit. Perhaps the fantasy comes from wanting an idealistic situation that most of us didn't have like you mentioned. I know it's hard for me to imagine - with the abuse and incest that occurred in our family. So initially - it's a major turn-off! But to imagine a family that loved and cared for each other so much that they stretched the limits, crossed the boundaries, well - I guess I can see the fantasy appeal. Sappy, but kind of like that movie from my younger days that was such a hit - the Blue Lagoon - sibling romance. So enjoy the writing!

Incest is 100% a fantasy category. Everyone is over 18 and up for it, no-one notices age differences and no-one remembers their snotty older brother when he was flicking elastic bands at you.

But you must bear in mind that it is light years away from the frightening scenario of abuse and pedophilia. I was lucky, I didn't experience it, but my partner did and it was awful.

Strictly, I can't see these days (with birth control) why incest should be illegal. It's just important that we keep our guard up so we always differentiate between fun and fantastical, consensual adult sex and the depraved sewer of child abuse. Hang em high.
