Is this dorky? Measuring dildos...

Hi! I'm new. I'm also wondering if I'm sort of a dork.

I decided I needed a new dildo. I'm single and it's been a long pandemic, you know?

I hadn't actually used the two I have in awhile and after some...experimenting I realized one wasn't bad but could be thicker. The other one I could technically get inside me but it wasn't the fun kind of painful.

So - this is the dorky part - I actually brought out a cloth measuring tape, measured around the two, and found there was a 2" difference in girth. Well, that explained a lot.

Armed with this new knowledge, I may have bought three new dildos - all within that 2" span. I always have bought ones with a suction cup bottom (though more for a kitchen chair than a shower - I'd fall on my ass) but this time I bought one that is actually double ended but very long so I can actually, hopefully, use it in my bed.

It's all supposed to be delivered today so I am essentially spending the day trying not to focus on tonight...and kind of hoping I can walk tomorrow.

Since you don’t get to try them out first, no it’s not dorky. It’s better that wasting money on something that’s just going to sit in the drawer unused.

I love the smooth feel of the glass and I use the anal art as a handle. Never had any luck with the suction cup ones. Was wanting a thicker one, but no need now as I have a BF.
