I just started a thread about tuna fish, my all time favorite sandwich, and brother Ambro suggested Spam (the lunch meat), instead. I always thought that they made Spam from the stuff that was even worse than the stuff they make hot dogs from.( I think that they call it "offal"). Is there anyone out there who willingly eats the stuff??

Mmmmmm, offal.

<drool>

Spam with Hormel chili on top. Oh yeah.

Hey Blue, how's Blue's crew?!

Get it? Blue's crew!

HAHAHAHAHA!

I once tried Libby's Potted Meat just for a lark...I thought I was going to vomit. But I kept the can because the ingredients were so darn funny. Mechanically separated chicken parts, lol. Gets me every time.

I do like it but the only way I eat it diced, fried and served over bread with gravy.

I do, spam, potted meat, hoghead cheese ...

And how about fried boloney - for breakfast of course, with my grits.

Blue's crew is doin' just fine, Ambro.

Thanks for asking. And what's with the bubble pipe pic?? Are you regressing, or what?

You must have missed it. I quit smoking, the hardest, yet most comforting thing I've done in a while. Hehehe

I've stated before - here - will do it again....

When I was a furniture mover - I would purchase two tall 16oz PBR's (Pabst Blue Ribbon) and a can of Spam - in the morning. I'd put the bag in between the moving blankets for safe keeping until lunch. Now, many a mid-summer day in Virginny - it's fuckin' hot. Lunch time came - I'd key that can of Spam, plop it out into my hand, shake the gell of it and eat it like an apple. Chase it with hot Pabst.

Ummmmm good!

I haven't had Spam since my dad took us camping when I was 10.

It was interesting, but then again, it was so damned late by the time he'd finally stopped the car and we'd prepared the campsite and the fire got started, I might have eaten a raw chicken with enthusiasm.

My dad didn't stop the car for anything as unimportant as a meal.

Speaking of mystery meat...who likes slim jims? I think they're great, though I always get choruses of "eewww"s whenever I eat one. Gah, California.

Sorry, I had to take a puke break ....

after reading about Spark's lunch time treat. Now I'm back, after having eaten a few pieces of herring in cream sauce. Now that'sgood stuff.
