I'm not sure if anyone has noticed a delay in their postings lately but I find it odd that in the last month it's taking longer for my new stories to post. They seem to take longer and require more viewing prior to going live.
Am I doing something wrong? I do post first drafts here, they do include some errors. Some stories have quite a few grammar/spelling errors, these days it's less as my keyboard got fixed and I can actually read the keys once more in my hunt-and-peck style. There are still a few, but there always have been, so not sure if that's the impact.
It did start after one issue with a story. I did have an author's note in there reminding people I post first drafts and explaining the delay was due to working on a book. It was explained that was considered self-promotion, so I removed it, re-submitted the story, and ever since there's a marked delay in posting.
I know we just ended the wonderful Halloween contest and are starting the Winter contest, perhaps that's the reason. Any insight into how I can make it easier for the people in charge of reviewing/posting would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
(As a note to any trolls who plan to respond...go right ahead, not a single fuck shall be given)
