Just mathematics:

For example, my How To opus on testing your story's formatting is currently rated 4.20 with five votes:

5 x 4.20 = 21 I happen to know that 21 breaks down to four 5's and one 1 vote from watching the votes when it first went up and seeing the score drop from 5.00 to 3.67 with the third vote -- that third vote had to have been a 1.

It could also be 5+5+5+4+2, or 5+5+5+3+3 or 5+5+4+4+3, or 5+4+4+4+4 -- IF I didn't know that there was a one vote in there.

If you check regularly enough to cast each vote as it's cast, you can identify them fairly precisely by comparing the old total with the current total.
