You can have sex and ejaculate inside your partner and not get her pregnant? You'll know what I'm trying to say it just sounds blunt and stupid but y'know. Is there a period of time where their is no chance of it happening. I dunno if it's true or not, I guess I'm getting this idea from knowing people who want a baby and try for it at certain times... am I missing something obvious that I probably know...?

look up the rhythm method of birth control, i know that the days that she can't get pregnant differ with every woman, and that it is the least reliable method out there.

By the way, I wasn't looking for an alternative method of contraception! I'm a virgin and when my time comes which seems to be getting closer it'd be nice to have more of a safety comfort y'know?

OHMY! A virgin here at Lit!? How did that happen:p

Seriously as far as a period of time Native Alien is right. The rhythm method is used and it's not right on 100 percent.

Safety comfort? Be very careful ..... see if she's on the pill or use a rubber .

Or find a woman that can't have kids.

You know what they call a woman who uses the rhythm method…

Pregnant!

Hehe.

when she starts her period i believe is a good way of going about it, it's messy and can be mood killing but if you really want to make sure she won't get pregnant use a condom with spermicide and have her get on the pill and use a diaphram...over kill i know but what the hell why take the risks of being a father when you aren't ready and making her be a mother when she isn't ready either?

There are times during the month where it IS safer, but no time is 100 percent risk-free, even during a woman's period. Hormones are funny things, and ovulation, though it is supposed to occur only 1 time a month, and provide a few fertile days, can occur more often.. Lots of babies in this world that are proof of that.. Use some sort of protection, and that's your best bet! And.. you'll have more fun not having to worry!

OMG! Amazing

Ejaculation is by no means guaranteed to make her pregnant. If it was that easy, fertility clinics wouldn't even be an issue.

Nature works in odd ways. It takes a whole lotta luck for your little fishies to make it upstream to the healthy spawning grounds and even then it's not a sure thing that they'll do the miracle of life thing.

Fair question though coming from a virgin.

Sadly.. There is absolutely NO time that there is NO chance of getting her pregnant... if she is not using some form of chemical contraception (the pill, depo, etc.). There are safer times of the month.. usually the week just after her period. Ovulation starts two weeks after ones period.. so bascially two weeks before her period is when she will be the most fertile. Although.. nothing is fool proof using the rhythm method. The best bet is.. if you don't want to risk unwanted prenancy.. use contraception.

I'm sure I tried making this clear twice but no one seems to have caught on. I ain't trying to go for any daring methods. I'd be using a condom with spermicide but y'know, what's wrong with wearing a condom and doing it at the time she'll least get pregnant? C'mon! To me that sounds safER doesn't it?

Well.. if you are going to be using a condom, and you do it correctly.. I am not sure what you are trying to ask...

Ahh.. that is where the spermicide comes in.. in case of oopsies.

It really isn't that often that a condom breaks, when they do it is more often than not due to not being put on properly.. fingernails.. carelessness.. etc.

I have been having sex for a number of years now.. and I have NEVER had it happen. I use condoms faithfully..

I would suggest not really worrying about it unless it happens..

If ever it did, there is always the morning after pills.. which is really just excessive birth control pills for a day or so.
