I need someone computer virus/homepage-savvy person to calm my fears.

This morning, at school, I created 2 webpages in two seperate programs, and uploaded them to two separate webpages that I have, one at Angelfire, the other at Geocities. Just to test out these programs.

Just before I left for lunch, all of us who were having computer courses at that school were informed that all computer classes were cancelled that afternoon, as the teachers had discovered a virus in their network.

Goody. 3 hours work wasted. I've deleted the pages that I made, but I'm still worried. Could the virus have spread from the infected pages over to all other pages I have at Angelfire/Geocities? How do I virus-check my webpages?

Yer safe, I think.
I'm assuming that those pages were nothing but html--files, and some images.

Unless they contained some very weird shit then no, viruses do not infect documents like web pages, they are simply too...dumb to catch that flu.

Svenskaflicka, I agree with the perceived wisdom above - if your webpage contains only normal HTML you shouldn't need to be worried.
