...to Democrat crime ridden Democrat cities where local officials are refusing to enforce the law?

Donald Trump Previews Actions to Secure Crime-Ridden Democrat-Led Cities

Charlie Spiering 15 Jul 2020

President Donald Trump previewed Wednesday an upcoming announcement that he would act to secure some of America’s largest cities facing a surge in violence.

“Next week, we’re going to have I think a very exciting news conference because we’re talking about some of these cities where some of the Democrats running them have just lost control of the cities,” Trump said. “So that will be very interesting.”

The president spoke after receiving a law enforcement briefing from Attorney General Bill Barr about the success against MS-13 and other transnational gangs.

“We’re going to straighten things out,” Trump said, describing “out of control cities” that were “like war zones.”

Trump on Monday described cities like Chicago as “worse than Afghanistan” as several major cities are experiencing a crime wave.

And when nothing happens you'll just conveniently forget about it and ignore anyone who brings it up while touting the next big thing that never happens.

What about social workers?

Why bring in armed force to stop killing and burning and rape? I would think that a good social worker could help frustrated people talk out their stress. As AOC pointed out they are only acting this way because the government has failed to give them enough free stuff in the first place. Why not just send in social workers with pickup trucks loaded with free cash in the back? Talking nice works and so does giving away other peoples money.

Amazing that you still buy this guy’s bullshit. He’s not going to do a fucking thing.

Another EO whose impact will be principally felt in the amount of ink the President will need to sign that big-ass signature of his.

The prez has accomplished a lot while fighting America's domestic enemies 24/7/365. I'm just curious what the news conference might entail and what the DOJ stance will be. You're free to make of it what you will, and I don't give a shit what that might be. However, I'll take great pleasure in knowing whatever he does will be equivalent of dipping your ass cheeks into a deep fryer.:D

Guessing he'll EO tougher gun control laws in WI and IN.

Or maybe effect border controls around IL to ensure that gun-crimes committed in-state are done so by in-state guns only.

I think he might enforce violations of existing federal gun control laws, drug laws, immigration laws, federal riot laws, and use RICO laws to go after gangs. He may insist on actual prosecutions of people who make false statements on ATF Form 4473.

It’s potentially a win/win situation for the Only-Credit-Not-Accountability Tweeterdent.

If it goes to shit (pun for the poopsmith) he can always just shift blame to the governors, like he did after his mishandling of the impending COVID-19 crisis back in March.

*RWCJ club readies their ‘Chicago’ and ‘yeah, but Obama’ and ‘Shithole Democrat states’ bleats and canned responses.*

Didn't know that those only occurred in cities with Democratic leadership.

My starting point is that he's putting on a show, and the "news conference" is a stage.

In Democrat run cities many laws are not being enforced by local officials, thus enabling a lawless environment.

Trump is a showman, but he knows how to get things done as well. He is a hard nosed businessman, not a mealy mouthed milquetoast politician. He knows how to fight media propagandists and political gaslighters.

Hammer meets nail.

This has been the status quo for almost four years now. Makes for good Friday evening newscasts and feeds the 48 hour news cycles.

If by ‘hard-nosed’ you mean use inheritance money to take businesses and successfully bankrupt them into oblivion, then yes, he’s hard-nosed.

Chuckles

Trump put feeding the base with some red meat I see....:D

On a more serious note, how does he propose to do all this, limited resources, limited funds, hmmm Trump was a real estate developer, not a logistic coordinator....

Maybe fucking stick to trying to control COVID-19....oh right, that is beyond his basic capacity to act on as well...

Come on, drop the shit. Trump is a successful businessman.

So federal laws not being enforced in other locales that leads to an influx of guns into Chicago is somehow the fault of lax law enforcement by local officials?

I call that "passing the buck".

No, his brother Fred knew how to get things done. The President was, again, the mouth.

As a lifelong NYer, we know this better than the rest of the country. The fact that you claim otherwise speaks to how well he sells his BS....but it's all just BS.

Pretty much.

If he were to actually accomplish something meaningful, the Dems machine should be silent for about an hour because they haven't prepared for that possibility.

Sure. Enforcing gun laws is as easy to do as enforcing alcohol law in the 1920’s.
Nothing to it. Just a problem with enforcement.

Come on, drop the shit. Trump is a successful businessman.

Well sure, there is Trump Airlines, Trump Casinos, Trump Vodka, Trump Steaks, Trump Mortgage, Trump Fragrance, and the highly accredited Trump University. All legendary American success stories.

I heard the NBC television network desperately wants him back for the Apprentice.

Looks like everything he touches turns to gold.

Come on, drop the shit. Trump is a successful businessman.

Steaks? Airline? Trump University - with $25 million dollar fine for ripping people off? Six hotel/Casino bankruptcies? Give me a break

He is a con man and you are the mark.
