First of all, I apologize for not reading the "FAQ before Posting" on this subject.

Having said that, I don't believe the number that Men's Health is quoting. So maybe this is a worthwhile post.

I'd swear by the pictures one sees that Mr. Average is larger than 5 inches. Might that number be obtained when measured flacid ?

Actually, around 5 and half inches is the standard according to a study posted in the Journal of Urology in 1996. There's a lot of good info in the question and answer pages on this sight. And I have always been told that the most important measurement is circumference rather than length and on the lists the discussion is always length centric ??? I've never understood that.

i've always heard that around 5.5" is average. my man is at 7. and no, 5" is not them measuring flacid. in my experience i've had several between 5-6", one that was around 4" and 3 that were 6.5+. does size matter? sure doesn't to me. the biggest i ever had sucked ass at the sex, and the smallest i ever had was the second best sex i'd ever had. not to mention that a mouth and vagina will only take so much dick to begin with, as our bodies are only made to big, and as far as girth is concerned, a vagina expands to fit whatever is put in it regardless. so no matter what. it will end up being the same tightness overall.

Whatever the reason, black guys really are approximately two inches bigger than white guys, on average, and Asian guys are approximately an inch smaller than white guys, on average. In my extensive experience, at least.

I strongly suspect that the studies of penis size were on white guys. They're the only group who are, on average, a little under six inches.

There are some many other things that are more important. Just cause you have a huge cock, doesn't mean that you should do less in the foreplay area or anything else.
