Acceptance is difficult for me. It hurts so much to spend so much time writing and then have it sit hidden away from the world.

In Trad publishing it takes a year or two for a book to come out, and it takes a ridiculously more work to even get to that point.
I understand the frustration, but a little perspective is in order.

I get that completely! Years ago I wrote a book (not erotic fiction). But one of the draws for me here was instant gratification. And I adjusted to fairly quickly gratification. But now it's been a while and I'm in hope there's gratification mode.

And yes, I had a story published 2 weeks ago. But I have 6 stories still pending and one of them has been sitting there (resubmitted 3 times) for about 2.5 months.

I am sympathetic to anyone with stories caught in the que, people just need to manage expectations.

Amazingly, the newest of my 6 Pending stories (submitted 2 days ago) was Approved and is now Published.

Not sure how that makes sense.

We've got it all worked out. I defend LIT, and they turn on the Iron Dome system to protect my stories, and only my stories from the One Bombers.
