do i detect anger in some of the responses to my posts? i suggested that people check out david icke's website for alternative info and supplied the web address. some of those who responded posted some of his articles on this forum and i thank them for being more ambitous than i was in just supplying the address, even if it was their intention to hold them up for ridicule.

i've been called a kook, told i'm full of shit, that i'm off my meds(i don't think people suffering from mental illness will appreciate that one), and "how can i possibly believe this shit". maybe they want me to "get with the program" or "jump on the bandwagon" or "do what your told" so they'll approve of my ideas.

a belief system is based on many different things including your environment, education, religion, tv and media, and our culture. and examining and tearing down that belief system for a new one is a personal, difficult, and often unpleasant journey. i believe i have been lied to about a great many things.

i'm not saying that everyone is lying. I believe that some very powerful and secret individuals who remain hidden are putting their puppets out in the open for us to see who may or may not know that they are spreading these lies. i've made up my own mind but i continue to be open minded.

i advocate nothing but more accurate information leading to the truth.

Maybe "they" want you to establish you who are before you start espousing fringe ideas and riciduling established members. You've started more threads than many long term members, and the majority of your 25 posts reiterate the same conspiracy message. You've come out of your corner swinging, and you're not likely to win friends, or even an audience, with that approach.

As for advocating the truth, you do no such thing. You advocate your brand of it, and expect everyone else to swallow it hook, line, and sinker. You have one perspective among many, and you have to admit that it is not one most people will openly accept. Your delivery of your perspective is coarse, and is guaranteed to not open anyone to your ideas.

As for building a belief system such elements as TV and the media, I flatly disagree with you. I do not build my core character upon such shallow elements. These things are a mere reflection of certain segments of society. They do not create anything, but merely reflect back what they can, often in grossly exaggerated and distorted terms.
