An article in a local paper, picked up from the AP, discusses how more and more high school and college females believe sex is only when intercourse is involved. Oral and hand play is no loger considered sex as much as it is simple erotic pleasure. Apparently a poll was done over 250 high school and college campuses and that this belief has increased by 18% from two years ago.

I must be old fashioned, but to me it is all sex and nothing simple about it.

Your opinion?

Sex is intimate, no doubt. I don't think I could just be so casual about it. I think any sort of physical intimacy is some form of sex, and I'm not talking about kissing and hugging....

Yep, I agree

with ya there, Tony. It's all sex to me too.

Sex is what you make of it and who you're with. When I've been single and just playing around, sex was "just sex". But, with my Boyfriend, no matter what He's doing to me, it's lovemaking. Even if He was smacking my ass while fucking me doggy style, it's lovemaking. Why? Because I love Him with my heart and soul.

As for that article...I considered myself a virgin until I actually had intercourse my Sr. year.

IT ALL DEPENDS

I've never heard of anal or oral intercourse. So I guess that it's called sex.

When I was younger, way younger like in high school, and I was making out with a guy and lets say he asked for a blow job, I might of done it, got scared, and did nothing else. I never considered that sex, just experimenting. I never did that again until I was married. I have always considered sex to be penetration.

I repeat.
I did not have sex with that woman
Miss Lewinsky......

I'm sure there was lots of mixing fluids on stained sheets.. Monica's problem was that she didn't clean the dress. Otherwise we'd be left with the great right wing conspiracy.

It is totally understandable why high school and college kids only refer to intercourse as sex. It is basically molding the definition of sex to their liking.

This is nothing new. It is the same attitude that kids have always had with new terminology.

When I grew up, good girls (aka virgins) never "went all the way" although they might let a guy as far as "third base" (hands inside the panties)

Petting might have been considered sex, but it wasn't Sex.
