He definitely meets the age requirement. But C'mon. The Prez submits a budget yearly. The House voted it down. Not a single Dem voted Yea. That tells me something. Either the Dems are playing Politics (doubtful), or his Budget Proposal was woefully inadequate. I can submit a Budget that will be voted down unanimously. And I am a layman. He's the Prez with "supposedly" top notch advisers.

Something is amiss.

The man is not nearly as intelligent as he has been made out to be by his handlers. Remember foremost that he was an affirmative action student with not very high grades.

How can I surmise this with reasonable certainty? This man is an egotistical and arrogant SOB and if his grades were high we would not only know about it, we wouldn't stop hearing about it. As it is, his handlers have made very certain that we know little or nothing about him, they've gone far out of their way to protect this knowledge.

That said, the man is no idiot. He's street smart and a formidable opponent for anyone although physically he's a wimp. His great strength is that he intuitively knows how to organize groups. He has probably done this from childhood because he's not very good at fighting his own battles.

What you say may in fact be true. The fact is the budget was not passed by anyone n the House. The Media is quiet on this fact. Sad.

Excellent reasoning. Kudos.

Clearly the obama isn't qualified to sell girl scout cookies, although he does wear tights

More than qualified, and given the full breadth of the circumstances this country is in, I think he's doing an excellent job.

On what planet?

They knew it was gonna get no bipartisan support and thus not pass. Also, it was a moot proposal since another one was in comittee. So instead of going forward with a symbolic vote they do this and call it a procedural block, which they then blame on obstructionist republicans.

Ta-da.

A vote is a vote. Does not matter if there was a another budget, and does not matter if the Dems knew it would fail. They voted NO. That's all that matters.

That's adorably naive.

What matters is what narrative people can make of it. You made one. The left makes another.

No you're an idiot.

The minority party in the House doesn't have to pass a budget or even submit one. Not only that, but the president doesn't have to submit a budget and historically it's not done.

The Dems knew that Obama's budget wouldn't pass the Republican house so they chose not to submit it - not that the minority party even has the power to put any budget up for a vote in the first place. So in a bit of political theater, a Republican submitted Obama's budget hoping to get Dems to vote for it - meaning the Dems would have nothing to gain while giving Republicans a campaign commercial right before an election.

The whole thing was an effort to manipulate stupid people like you, who live off sound bytes instead of facts.

The Republicans then pass the Ryan plan with zero Democratic votes (after bitching that Obamacare was unjust because it had no GOP votes), and then crow about how they're "responsible". But LOL no, passing a completely partisan budget that has no chance of passing the Senate, much less being signed by Obama is not responsible. It's just more political games and utter bullshit.

The only budget that will pass will be one where Republicans and Democrats come together to make it. Until then every other budget out there is a campaign commercial.

I believe The General Accounting Act of 1921, which makes it the law that the President must annually submit a federal budget to Congress, evidences you as the idiot...

...idiot.

Your last sentence says it all.

Sorry Pal, for you must be uninformed.

His name is not "Prez", it is "President of the United States of America."

The bolded font is the reason I like your post: For you are one of the Libs that think they know it all. Such a progressive thinker. Yada Yada. But you have not the ability to speak without throwing insults.

Guess you are not "all that" after all. Good day.

You're confused again. And it kind of evidences you as the idiot, don't you think?

The Budget and Accounting Act of 1921 requires the president to submit an annual budget for federal government departments. That's merely a sub-section of the overall budget.

And Obama has done this every year.
