Every year at the same time we have cookouts, drink beer, shoot off fireworks and laugh our asses off about kicking mighty England's ass back across the pond.

Does anybody feel we are being insensitive?

No.

We laugh about burning your white house all the time.

It seems fair for you to laugh at them.

I do tend to become slightly anesthetized after a couple cervezas .

You better not or we won't come save you the next time some German gets uppity and that's practically all they do!

You mean you'll wait until we wear them out before you decide to join the effort....again?

Thanks!

Nope. This time we just aren't gonna show at all. I don't see your ass helping with the Mexican invasion.

The local fireworks supplier has a red double decker bus with a scoreboard on the side that reads, "USA - 1, England - 0".

When they become a problem for us, sure.

Until then enjoy the cheap labour, it's what made you what you were.

Why do we feel the need to blow shit up every time we want to celebrate something?

We seem to be good at it. Plus we all seem to have an inner pyromaniac. If a fire truck goes through town people go running/driving/biking after it.

10 points to the first person to identify where my adorable trollikins went wrong.

I'll guess drinkin a Cerveza on an American holliday? But these days, it's kinda tough to decide what is truly American.

No we do not need to feel guilty for celebrating. If you are really that sensitive, use it on something worthwhile. As for me, when I get off work tomorrow afternoon, I plan to drink a little beer or whiskey and enjoy the evening.

I heard that heaps of places are banning fireworks this year coz of the heatwave?

many cities are canceling the traditional big fireworks displays, but they're still selling the shit to people. hell, in my state they just made it legal to buy bottle rockets and mortars for the first time in ages and apparently the shit is selling quite well. in short, we're all gonna die.
