... for stories that have already been posted? It seems that stories posted to one particular category get treated quite differently then similar stories in a few other categories. Any help is appreciated.
I think you'd have to PM Laurel with the request. The site editor reserves (and exercises) the privilege of assigning category no matter what the author suggests, so I'd go to her directly about it.
