Is it possible to get help?

Last week, after years of being on this site, I could not log in. It kept asking for a validation code. As far as I know, nothing went wrong or happened.
I've tried writing the site for help and was replied with...a little sarcasm. I don't know what happened and you can not get any help from the site. I guess they are to busy to help the writers, the people that keep the site going, any help.
Can someone please help me?

I've had that problem before. recently, in fact. what you do is go to the screen where you log in, with the slot for your identity and password, and there should be a link that says something about getting a confirmation number sent to you. click on it and you should get an automated email that will reopen your account. I think it's some sort of error on the site, but that's what worked for me, so I hope it works for you as well.

Same thing happened to me, no joy with anything. I had to create a new ID. Go figure.

Possibly the problem is your email? I tried to email what I posted and it bounced back as undeliverable.

The same thing happened to me when I changed my email address. I sent a number of emails, but never got a response. Eventually I gave up and opened a new identity, as you can see from the two links below.
