Is it possible to change my username??

Is it possible to change my username?? I don't see an option on my "control panel" for that.

No. You have to create a new profile if you want to change it.

Ask for your old account name to be cancelled, and open a new account. With only two posts, it's not as if you've left a massive trail.

That’s a bit harsh I think it’s wonderful that he comes from Kansas I don’t know why but it’s just wonderful.

I reckon he gave us too much information the first time around, and wants to step back into someone more anonymous. The moral of the tale is, don't sign up when drunk .

Just beware, when it finally will be changed, of course, you have to remember and use that new name. There won't be a notification...

Wow, I have no intention of hiding my location! I prefer to meet local people, when I can, which is why it's there.
I'm asking from seeing some of the more creative names, and wondered if I could do that, if I wanted to.
So, maybe the lesson is more about jumping to conclusions? Just a thought...

It usually is the other way around, people belatedly realising they've given themselves a terrible moniker. Or worse, a terrible name with a typo, which is careless, but amusing for others.

But, useful information arises, knowing that you can change your name without drama, so now I know something I didn't.

But I'm intrigued now, as to the more creative name being thought of?

I decided against the change. My preference is to meet local people, rather than have a more creative name. After thinking it through, there isn't anything I could create that would help me meet like-minded people in my new city.
Glad for the education from those who were able to answer the question though!
