I'd reckon it was far more normal to want a Fuck Buddy as well as a mate.

With that in mind, I keep approaching the wife of one of my friends who I know wants her nipples burned, twisted and lashed; because each time I see her she comes on to me by shrieking sexily:

“Get the hell away from me you fucking pervert! What are you doing here, the police told you to stay away!! ”

There are so many people out there who want so many different things that its really impossible to say what is normal. But what's normal is irrelevant. You have to do what works best for you. And even if its not normal, chances are that there is someone out there looking for the same thing you are.

Most of the time, I feel the exact same way. I don't actively seek out committed relationships ... when I've had them, its because they've simply fell in my lap so to speak.

It all depends on who is defining "normal". I suspect that even you would not answer the question the same way at all points in your life. A better question is "Is it the best thing for me, now?" and of course only you can answer that. It's certainly not strange or unusual!
