Or does it really suck when you get home and hope to respond on threads youre really into and enjoying and there's nothing there? Or you can not respond yourself and really want to? I know the waiting drives me nuts at times. The longer the wait the nuttier I get. I understand RL gets in the way. But like a movies skipping n stalling, or a favorite track on a CD skipping. It blows. Hard.

i agree! at first i wondered how some could keep up with half a dozen stories, but i find myself responding to more so that i can always have a new response waiting i'll bet it'll only get worse during the holidays-it's always so busy!

No it's not just you. I get frustrated like that too. I also get frustrated when thread that start out great get some weak RPers in there who really take down the energy.

I generally am in more than one arpee at a time but always able to post as I hate to wait. But it isn't easy managing life and threads still...

hell got lots of threads i'm in here, a afew pm arpee, some email bits, and a different site altogether yet i mange to post in all of them regularly. Tisn't that hard but i can see the issue when life gets in the way. still rather frustrating, especially when your character is waiting on one person just to move.

and i'm still eager to play in the sect...*pout*

Leopard Lover... i agree it sucks royally. and no it's not just you.... ok but think of this...what do you do when youre not interacting with your friends RT. You think, right..about all sorts of things...you remember past events and stuff. I try to come up with another angle..or use NPC characters...short of that give people a polite PM to get their ass in gear.

I'm all for NPCs they help the world go round... just sometimes you get caught in a situation where an NPC can't even help you out ..well maybe it can but you don't want to just up and ditch a person in the middle of a session that's pretty intense (sex or action).

Yes, I agree- and it blows when you have an RP that you want to post on and RL is keeping you away and you have this feeling in the back of your head that you haven't taken care of an obligation...

I had a really nasty business meeting Sat Morn. And for at least half of it, my brain was in bed with Bon Bon and Rusty...

Well since I work with computers I'm usually always around them so I guess that's why I'm typically always online. That and my infatuation with writing I just love to write out stories; though I'm still exploring my potential.

I say there should be some partnering up for those that can post on a regular basis as aposed to those that can only post once or twice throughout a week. Give or take..but that's just me.

But with the holidays coming up there aren't going to be many people online so perhaps everyone should get in their posts now while they can.

*suddenly has the earge to write a rape story...hmm* Anyhoo.

I am the same as the majority here. I am involved in a few others for variety, but like others I also know real life is the Master of us all. This month and next will try the patience of some because it is such a holiday filled time as well as many in college are doing exams and finals.

I think we are all here because we enjoy writing, enjoy erotica and are a bunch of pervs, so we should just take it all with a grain of salt with the hope that after the start of the new year the pace will improve.

Sorta. Myself, I have some writing partners with whom I'll write one thread but with *multiple* SRPs in them. Here're two examples:

As a result, I can update the thread *but* don't have to update a specific SRP if I'm hitting writer's block or something. Meanwhile, my partner can update the SRPs as her time permits it.
