Is it just me or is it the holidays that have slowed the feedback and hangout boards down to a crawl? This is my first Christmas as a Lit member so I don't know what the norm is for posters around this time of year. Anyway, I was just wondering.

Probably is the holiday season. I know it has impacted the amount of time I spend here.

Spending time with family, putting up Christmas trees, lights, and decorations. All these things take time away from what's really important :D

I'd agree with you on that...it's just slow slow slow around here (including me who keeps taking time off to do that college stuff thing)

it tends to be very slow in Litland at the beginning of the week... then everybody realises they haven't been around for a while and swamps the place on thursdays and fridays ;)

You could be right wild. I never paid to much attention to when things got posted till I started my vacation.:D

No, it's not just you. It's going so slow that i'm actually thinking of getting some sleep.

Delicious

Your AV is the best I've ever seen! Sorry just had to tell ya!

I know my time is being eaten up, year end push, lights trees (and the birds that came with it) has really put a damper on things...

Christmas is soon?

W-n-E-

You have devastated my reality... I was drifting along in denial about Christmas being really soon, blithely writing naughty stories and enjoying other Lit'ers offerings... Why did you have to remind me that I have Important Things to do?

BT-

Shame on you for mentioning all the things I have been neglecting... I thought that we were avoiding guilt by being here...;)

Getting cold sweats as I pull out the Christmas card list and hoping that Amazon can deliver in time.

:rose:b

LOL Bridget, I'm so sorry to bring you back to reality.

Well, it's good to know it's not just me. I know I haven't spent nearly as much time on lit as usual so I was wondering if it was the season.

Merry Cristmas to you all.

It's always to soon :) After all they start telling you in July or is it April about Christmas.:D My shopping was finished a long time ago. I buy through the mail. I won't go near any malls. So I hope you get your shopping done or else the three ghosts from Scrooge will pay you a visit. :rose:

It's not just you, things are slowing somewhat. Maybe a few guys and gals should swing respective "jingle-balls" to keep the attention at level? ;)

Woops, that escaped my lips just like that!

I'm bad, so bad.

Paul

You may have a point Paul, I am sure that many are over tired from all the Christmas crap that started in July or April or was it January? All that last minute rush is nerve wracking to say the least.

Marley, the fourth ghost to visit Scrooge, has quit making house calls on Christmas Eve.

He found there was greater profit to be made by knocking on doors on All Hallow's Eve.

Marley is a 'bottom line' kind of ghost.

redeemed

Phew!

After the wake up call last night, I did the cards, put up the tree and bought ALL the in-laws' presents....

I deserve a big cup of eggnog now.... Or make that a punch bowl of eggnog....

And... I am awaiting the posting of my story Man of the Year with as much anticipation as I am awaiting Santa Claus... I've been naughty this year... so, make that with as much anticipation as I am awaiting the first kiss under the mistletoe....

Actually Marley was the first. The last was Christmas yet to come.
