Is it "it's" or isn't it?

Most times it's used correctly but sometimes it's used incorrectly because of its ability to fit into almost any sentence. Isn't it?

Are you the type of person who makes sure of your punctuations and spellings or don't you care? Do you get upset with people who don't care or go overboard?

I get upset with me when I get it wrong. Other people? It's their problem!

I'm uber-anal about my own punctuation and spelling, but I try my damnedest to ignore such foibles in others.

I hate everyone's mistakes but my own.

There's another entry for Birdie's hypocrite thread.

It pisses me off when I see a post where I've fucked up spelling or punctuation.

other people - who cares so long as you can understand what they're trying to say.

I care about my own spelling and grammar, so I capitalize, use punctuation etc. I care about the mistakes or creative spelling of others only to the extent that it makes their posts difficult to read. Typos are inevitable, though, so it's wise not to get too irritated.
