Even as the liberal media ignore the blockbuster sales, the public continued to gobble up conservative talker Mark Levin’s latest book, American Marxism.

Publishing sources said that the syndicated radio star and Fox TV host sold a hair over 157,000 copies this week, putting him at sales of 565,100 of hardbacks, ebooks, and audio versions in two weeks.

Those eye-popping numbers have him topping the New York Times bestseller list. He’s also at No. 2 on Amazon.

For perspective, an author usually has to sell 3,000-5,000 books to be a bestseller.
To show the confidence that his publisher, Threshold Editions, had that American Marxism would be Levin’s seventh straight New York Times bestseller, they printed up over 1 million copies.

The book sold over a million copies in the first year in 2021. I don't have time to outline the history of the CPUSA, the Communist Manifesto, or Das Kapital here and/or how the principles therein relate to today's Democrat progressivism, the goals of Critical Race Theory, or the implementation of centralized government controls pursued by the Biden Administration and the Democrat Party. Their anti-Constitutional actions and socialist goals speak for themselves but Mark Levin takes the time to put a much finer point on it in this seminal book. I commend it to you.
Wow.

Thanks for advertizing the phrase "American Marxism" and the hammer and sickle :)

However, any claim that Democrats are "Marxist" is utterly laughable. Even Franklin D. Roosevelt himself stayed within the bourgeois confines of social democracy (i.e. reformism) and liberalism, yet had some Republican crazies shouting "communist" at him because he dared to win election after election against the wishes of big business capitalists.
They were mostly shouting it at his wife who entertained Marxist fellow travelers, of which there were many at the time as there are today.

Got to the CPUSA website and view their platform. Then come back and tell me how it differs from the DNC platform. I'll wait.

Nationalization of the commanding heights of the economy and the means of production under workers' control? That's what communists believe. That's what Eugene Debs believed. It isn't what Democrats (even of the FDR and Sanders kind) believe(d), who have the idea of being the "wise councilors" of capitalism. FDR's New Deal, in his mind, was about saving capitalism from itself, after the Hoover administration's shocking disregard for people's suffering for years during the Great Depression. FDR started out initially in 1932 talking about "balanced budgets", yet people's anger at the rich and corporations compelled him to change his tactics and methods. Then came Huey Long's persistent criticism during FDR's first term, which forced FDR further to the left, leading to the 1936 landslide, which really frightened big business capitalism.
