Florida's population is about 26% Hispanic, 15% Black, 3% Asian, while the non-Hispanic White population is about 56%. Yet Ron DeSantis won Florida's gubernatorial election last November with over 59% of the vote. His Democratic opponent, Charlie Crist, only won 40% of the vote and about 5 of the counties in the state.
According to the US census, 76% of Florida’s population is white.
According to that link, the non-Hispanic White population of Florida on July 1, 2022 was 52.3%, so even less than I thought.
And in Florida the overwhelming majority of people who voted were white, 71%. So to look at the entire population of Florida and claim that DeSantis has widespread support among minorities is dishonest at best.
Because the Democrat party, like academia, has been taken over by American Marxists, wake up.

I suspect that a substantial number of the Hispanics are related to, connected to or otherwise sympathetic to people who have escaped there from Cuba. Well, not-so-ironically, thanks to the Republican Right, Jim Crow is virtually returning in certain states like Florida, anti-semitism is on the rise once more, Nazi rhetoric is fashionable with people, the LGBTQ community is on track to becoming socially outlawed again and women's rights in several states have already regressed back to the '50s, so....only another half-century's regression to go for your side to deliberately shit the bed under another Democratic presidency, I reckon!
