Not unless it's an every day habit.

(You're not wearing your sword, are you?)

If you're questioning whether or not it's a problem, then it probably is, in fact, a problem.

personally it dpends on the level. having an alcoholic drink once in a while 'cos it taste nice is good.

Drinking lots 'til your drunk or drinking every da yto a point you feel you need to drink is a problem.

I'm sure you can find all kinds of excuses/reasons/justification/whatever if you look for them.

i dont feel the pain right now, i refuse to take pills, because i used to use pills to het high

is it a problem? If your typing is any indication, then yes. you fucked up your kneww?

So now you're getting drunk instead? Isn't that just a replacement addiction?

I hope this doesn't come over as nasty, I'm only saying it because I care.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. It sounds like a problem, love. No matter what time of day.

If you truly are an Irishman, then no amount of drinking is "too much." There's 24 beers in a case, and 24 hours in a day; you think that's a coincidence?

Cheers, mate!

Physical or physio therapy might be able to help your knee and not require the use of pain killers. I have had tons of it, been in 2 car accidents caused by drunk drivers. I don't drink nor take addictive pain killers. Ice and NSAIDs might also help your knee. Good luck.

I think getting drunk as a matter of course, to be social, to escape pain or as a way to sleep is a problem. It doesn't matter what time a day it is. If you often forget commitments or can't remember what happened when you are drinking, then you are drinking too much.

Supposedly hurting yourself or someone else when you are drinking is a sign that you are drinking too much.

Based on your Responses:
It is likely that your current drinking patterns are hazardous or harmful to your health and well being. Your responses to the AUDIT (Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test) are in a range believed to be consistent with problems related to drinking. However, the AUDIT cannot diagnose any condition or tell you for certain if alcohol use is harming your health; rather, it is a screening test to determine the likelihood of problematic drinking, and thus whether you should seek further evaluation.

Many people are not aware of how their alcohol consumption compares to that of the general public. More than 92% of the general adult American population and 86% of men consume fewer drinks per week than you reported consuming.

Recommended Action:
Because your results indicate that your drinking patterns may be hazardous or harmful, consider seeking further evaluation from your doctor or other qualified health professional, who can help you determine if your alcohol consumption is adversely affecting your health or interfering with your work and relationships. You may also want to learn more about health problems related to drinking and ways to reduce your risk. damn, I might have a problem, although the only time i've ever hurt someone during drunkenness was in drunken brawls, although i'm not sure i've it was because of alcholo or because they were assholes and had it coming.

I drink a beer or a glass of wine to dinner every other day. And do a pub night maybe once a month. But never anything remotely excessive.

That test said I might have a drinking problem.

If that's a problem, I dunno.

You already know what I think. :rose: Blackouts are a definite suggestion that there is a problem, per your prior thread about the phone incident.

If you're having blackouts, drinking first thing in the morning, you've got a problem.

My ex was an alcoholic and did both those things.

There are plenty of other online screening tests. This one came up near the top of the google.

Read Hunter S. Thompson, one of the greatest writers in American history, and then decide if you have a problem. (You probably do have a problem, but if you could channel it the way HST did, it could turn into an asset.)
