Is Fuck Off more insulting then Fuck You?

If they're used in the same context I think "Fuck You" is harsher.

Fuck Off is simply an unkind way of telling someone to get lost, it says to me "I don't like something you just said or did"

Fuck You says "I'm Gonna kick your ass!"

Fuck off is often done alone...fuck you can be a proposition.

I agreee, when I try to holler at some hot chick and seh says fuck you I am happy with thoughts of me fucking her.

'Fuck off' has a real satisfaction while balancing a light heartedness. 'Fuck you' is more sinister and uncompromising. I prefer to say fuck off.

However one has to ponder how you actually would fuck off....maybe it's like skipping but with pelvic thrusts? Do you fuck with a frequency that sends you spiraling out of control through a worm hole in the space-time continuum? Or perhaps like Schroedinger's cat you fuck yourself right through a piece of solid matter....

Fuck yourself? That's a good one too.....pure comedy. I always liked 'take a flying fuck at the moon' too. I envisioned speeding through the atmosphere led by my penis which cut through the air like a hot russian rocket through butter. Or would it be cheese? who knows....

... what was i saying?

______

I think it's all about transitional phrasing, right?

Fuck Off! pretty much says get out of my face NOW you freaking, lowly scumbag, YOU!

Fuck You! does, generally mean, go try and fuck yourself. But it could, in certain circumstances, and in the right tone of voice, have a sexual connotation to it. So, I think it this is less effective than FO as an insult.

And, of course, we shouldn't forget,

Fuck Me! complementing Fuck You! spoken in a nice way. :D

Ain't Fuck a great word? (Oops... that's on another thread).
