Is China humbler than the US in Xi's visit?

When President Obama declined the invitation to attend the ceremony held in Beijing on Sept 3 to mark the 70th anniversary of victory over Japan in World War II, many Chinese netizens expressed their dissatisfaction.

But now, when Chinese President Xi Jinping makes a state visit to the US, he places a big order to purchase 300 airplanes even before he sets his foot on Washington DC, which might help raise the image of China in the eyes of many American people and win their hearts too.

But do you think in this case China is humbler than the US? I do think so because I am a Chinese. And I am waiting to hear what Obama has to say after receiving such a big gift from a rival he loves and hates.

Your suggesting that President Xi Jinping in placing a "big order to purchase 300 airplanes" is somehow a "big gift" to the President of the United States is laughable and typical of the twisted mind set of a communist country that believes that capitalism is a tool for the state to manipulate for the benefit of a few.

Meanwhile China buys jets from Boeing as a stop gap measure while it steals technology and reverse engineers other countries intellectual property while developing its "own" airline industry.

There's no "loving" or "hating" going on. Our countries aren't daytime soap operas, they're countries with a currently fair-to-cordial relationship that occasionally fluctuates up and down.

How do you know or prove my mind is twisted and yours is not?

I don't think China is good or capable enough to know how to steal high technology from the US, Chinese people are only good at copying papers from each other, but they do this for survival only. Many professors or research fellows in China need to have a certain number of papers published to certify their ability of academic research in order to earn a professional title, which can ensure their income improvement in public-funded institutes.

If you read the words I wrote you will see that I didn't accuse you of having a twisted mind. The fact that you made the statement highlighted does tell me that you don't know much about China's spying and internet hacking capabilities. You may want to read some of the many articles such as the one below.

Let's cover this. I'm not sure what Obama should have done during his visit. Japan an the US are pretty close these days and certainly closer than China. I'm not sure there was a win to be had there. Moving on buying planes is not a gift.

Of course capitalism is a system to be exploited for the benefit of the few. It really can't function any other way and we here in America take great pains to make sure it doesn't start spreading too far.

China and America in this case may simply be playing different games. From what little I know about Chinese government there doesn't seem to be any serious division of power over there. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.) So President Xi can all but dress in sack cloth and kneel before Obama, look great internationally and then go home and tell his people to shut the fuck up. Obama showing even the slightest bit of respect for China could have far reaching reprocussions.

The fact that you think China is humbler because you are Chinese however is proof your opinion is moot.

As for China stealing our secrets. It never ceases to amaze me the combination of arrogance and crazy Americans are capable of. We're not stealing from the Chinese because they are stupid and backwards and clearly don't have anything worthy of stealing. At the same time we're incapable of preventing them from stealing awesome stuff and on a regular basis. Please.

This statement is of course nonsense. My point was and is that the limited capitalism in China is used by the government to benefit a very few in government and industry while supporting the basic communist agenda.

No, that statement is cold hard fact. You don't like it because it makes you feel bad but it's still a fact. Capitalism doesn't exist anywhere outside of the black market (and probably not there) because it simply doesn't work.

However what we have in America benefits relatively few people while supporting whatever teh fuck you want to claim that we have.

Your statement does not make me feel bad at all. It does make me chuckle at you and your ilk for believing such nonsense. Capitalism has built the strongest and most robust economy in the world, yes here in the US. I will agree it is not perfect but it is far better then any other system and especially the likes of China and Russia that are based on Crony Capitalism.

Please explain your cold hard fact and how it relates to the original topic asking if China is more humble then the US.

No different than here in the US...just replace 'communist' with 'capitalist'....you yourself are a fine example of a blind supporting fanatic.

US 'capitalism' is every bit as crony.....has been since day one. Every single one of them has some form of centralized authority that regulates and structures their economy.

Capitalism didn't build US's great wealth. There is more capitalism in the 3rd world today than there EVER has been in the US and they generally speaking don't have a pot to piss in.

You can't name a single capitalist super power that has ever existed.

It doesn't but that's no longer the discussion, the discussion is how delusional you are about capitalism and how capitalist America is, because it's could only be construed as much in the vaguest sense.....

It's such a RARE thing to see it actually happen because as soon as you do there is an alphabet agency right there in no time with a board of douche bags that all but nationalize it but instead hand the whole industry to a group of elites who agree to play by the bureaucrats whims. Bye the rich for the rich...

Look at Uber....look at cannabis....look at any number of emerging business opportunities. Any success?? BOOM regulated into the pockets of a few and protected behind a 200ft tall 1 billion gigawatt electrified 40ft thick titanium wall of legal horse shit anyone outside the homeboy club is doomed in any attempt to breach.

There is very little to no capitalism in the USA...shit's been dead since 1776....wake up.

The "gift" was to Boeing. Though I guess you could argue that building 300 planes is gift to employment and the whole Obama plan of "jobs, jobs, jobs".

That's not a gift that's a business relationship....

Calling it a gift is insulting....

Oh but I did. The rest of your twisted punk ass dribble isn't worth my time to refute. Move to one of those third world countries (that you didn't reference) if you wish to make a living where there is what you consider Capitalism.

You didn't read my original post. I not only didn't say that China isn't more humble than the US I heavily suggested that it is not.

America has never tried Captialism. Our founders weren't retards. If what we have HAS build the strongest and most robust economy in the world once you factor out all sorts of things is really suspect.

China and Russia are perhaps more "crony" (this word has no real meaning. It's just something idiotic fish folk throw forth to muddy the waters) than the US but even that's not cut and dry. Both of them were on the low end of the totem pole as recently as WWII and one of them was literally the balance of the US for decades and one is set to surpass us so claiming what China is doing doesn't work is at best wishful thinking.

Oh but I did.

No you didn't.....you named a country built upon slavery, genocide, theft of land/resources, coercion, strong arming and a crony legal system to protect those who committed such crimes against their fellow man in order to build the wealth that they did. Some of the biggest money still around has it's roots in the criminal empire.......

The rest of your twisted punk ass dribble isn't worth my time to refute.

Because you simply can't. There has never been a capitalist super power on this planet because capitalism alone doesn't work. It needs structure, rules and an enforcing body or a government, socialism if you were, on some level or that society does nothing but bathe in blood and squalor. From today all the way back to Sumeria THOUSANDS of years before Christ this has been a constant of every major world power that has EVER existed.

The only free market, the only capitalist empire, is the black one.....

Move to one of those third world countries (that you didn't reference) if you wish to make a living where there is what you consider Capitalism.

But I don't want to live in a capitalist state, you do.

I like the EPA telling company X they can't pour toxic waste in my water supply and that Bank XYZ that they can't go in and re-arrange my purchasing orders in order to fuck me the hardest possible and factory Z they have to clean up their shit and on and on and on. I like having cops and a public road system, I prefer private schools but I'm glad we have a public babysitting service too otherwise the streets would crawl with lil bastards all day. I like having the most powerful military ever covering my ass........all socialism.

LOL. You made a wish upon a star. I'll grant you that but you didn't point to a capitalist nation becuse no such monstrosity has existed in a "real" country for centuries. That's just not how reality functions.

I'll back Bot. I don't wish to live in a place that is capitalist. They are inevitably shit holes as they can be nothing else. The rich win and nobody else even gets to play. Which is why our government doesn't allow it. I would argue they still get closer to it than is comfortable but that's not the same argument.

I notice in the above there is accusation of spying done by China on the US, but considering they are two different countries, it is normal to have some affairs done under table, as the case in which you don't know how often your girl or wife may contact your male neighbor behind your back for more than simply borrowing a bottle of sauce. And if you know that there is a guy called Edward Snowdon, then everything is clear without further explanation.

Yes, Russia is not a good neighbor to China, either. While China always mentions the massacre done by Japan in Nanjing in 1938, it seems to be blind to the same thing done by Russians in northeast China earlier, where local people were killed in large numbers. And China conceded a large mass of land to Russia too, much bigger than Hong Kong and Macao combined. The Chinese government has no choice but to form a friendship with Russia when it sees Japan has got support from the US.

None of that covers the direct hacks.....

There is always a choice......China could chose not to be such tool bags about it.

I really wish the US would cut you twats off and leave you fuckers hanging high and dry, quit sending you so much of our money.

There isn't always a GOOD choice however.

And I wish Americans would stop pretending we owe China some supreme debt that can never be paid off, not something that woul donly be a huge issue if the Chinese decided (suicidally) to use it as a weapon.

We are told that the Chinese government is the biggest creditor and holder of the national treasure bonds, so it is you in the US who are using the money of Chinese government, or of Chinese people, not the other way around.

The US has received and protected a large number of corrupt officials of China on its homeland because they do bring with them a large fortune which in turn benefit the local economy at the cost of Chinese people. One or two are now arrested and sent back to China for justice, but the money they took away from China cannot be recovered any more because it has been used up or spent in the US.

That's not how it works. The Chinese government is effectively "buying" money from the United States. We're no more using the Chinese governments money than you are the banks money when you use a credit card.

Not that I think we're above that but can you name some of these officials and their crimes? That reeks of made up BS.

I don't think that the debt is the issue as much as their dirty trade tactics while they hold a majority share of our R&D/Manufacturing.

We are told that the Chinese government is the biggest creditor and holder of the national treasure bonds, so it is you in the US who are using the money of Chinese government, or of Chinese people, not the other way around.

If we quit buying products from you....from shoes to microwave ovens.....it would fuck your country over at a catastrophic level.

No trade with China = good for USA!! BAD for China...

China's trade tactics are pretty shady, that is undeniable. I'm curious how much of our RnD is even pretending to be there. Sure there are better places to set that up?

More often than not you can't separate R&D and production.....especially when you get past T shirts and plastic cups.

Of course you can. They aren't even that difficult to separate since not everything needs a physical mock up. The research guys for a lot of things can simply sit in a lab anywhere on the planet. Now we all ASSUME they are lying anyway and the RnD is done in America. BUT just like with taxes you open a PO Box in Uzbekibekistan, rent out a one room office and claim that is where the magic happens because then your taxes are based on a third world shit farm that "invented" the Iphone 69SG Deluxe edition and where it's built doesn't matter as much for that.

In an american dominated chat room nothing has to be proven. You're being baited by tools. Its standard operating procedure here.
