Is a story thread wrong?

I started a story thread in the Playground "Sex, Love, Rock & Roll" to post some stories about my days as a Disc Jockey. I thought people might like some additional details once they read a chapter. The only postings were from two people who did not bother to read the story, just sent a comment that they should have been posted as stories.

Are they just badly written and uninteresting, or is their an aversion to trying something new?

Yes, stories should be sent to the story file via the submission process.

You'll also find that many of the various forum sections here have no interest whatsoever in reading stories. The place is almost completely without moderation, and many people are here for that reason and that reason alone.

The subject matter of the site the forum is attached to is irrelevant. The large numbers of participants and the lack of supervision is what attracts a lot of people here.
